About us

Navigate Fundraising is led by Jenny Crabtree, a respected senior public fundraising professional.  Passionate about using her direct marketing experience to build relationships between supporters and the causes they care about, Jenny has been doing this for the past 16 years in the charity sector.  This included 8 years at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home where she was responsible for growing their individual giving income from £1m to £20m during that time.

Her direct marketing technical skills cover a wide range of media channels and products, including individual giving, legacy marketing, in-memory giving, and challenge events.  Over the course of her career she has also been responsible for leading supporter care, database and community teams too.  All of this is brought together with one common thread – a focus on building relationships with supporters and ensuring these are built on robust data and processes behind the scenes.

She is an open and authentic leader, with a team focus, and a track record of building multi-disciplined teams.  She enjoys nurturing talent, and is a coach on the BrightSpot Fundraising Individual Giving Mastery Course.  As an interim, Jenny is very used to coming into teams going through change, and building a positive vision and culture to hand over to a permanent post holder.

Jenny started Navigate Fundraising in 2018 and since then has worked for a range of charities including The Salvation Army, VSO, The Children’s Society, Peace Direct, Make-a-Wish, Teenage Cancer Trust, Girlguiding, SeeAbility and DePaul UK on a mix of interim Public Fundraising or Individual Giving roles and consultancy projects.  Click here to see what some of these clients say about working with her.
